Endo-what?Endometriosis affects around 176 million women across the world - which breaks down to 1 in 10 women during their reproductive years*.
Despite how common this disease is, there is currently no cure. On top of this, it takes years for women to be diagnosed. This is not okay and needs to change. |

Where This Blog Comes Into Play
Endometriosis affects every woman differently, which is often why it can be so challenging to diagnose when women become symptomatic. By understanding how differently endometriosis can alter a woman's health, we hope to spread awareness and break the stigma that endometriosis is just a "really bad painful period" by sharing real life stories from women with endometriosis and how it impacts their daily lives.
Our Mission: Spread Endometriosis AwarenessOur goal at Understanding Endo is simple: We want to help you learn more about endometriosis. |
