Meet Sara - Blog Creator & Writer - AKA @endosara
My name is Sara and I have endometriosis. After receiving my diagnosis in January of 2019, I really struggled to cope with accepting that I have an incurable disease. Writing has always been therapeutic and a passion of mine, so I decided that I wanted to share my endo health journey with other women, along with sharing other women's endo stories. We all have this common disease, yet it affects each one of us so differently, and I think that's why this disease can be so hard to diagnose at times.
My goal is to build endo awareness for women - when my health first went haywire, I did not ever consider endometriosis due to my pain and symptoms. Endometriosis is not just a "really bad period". It's not just "having pain during sex". It's not just "having painful bowel movements". It's so much more than that. Understanding Endo is a place to learn, share and heal – no matter where you find yourself in your endometriosis health journey.
With all that being said, welcome! I am so glad you're here and hope you find this blog helpful in some way. If you ever need to contact me, please use this contact form and I will get back to you as soon as I can.
